Editorial Branding Photography for Utah Fashion Brands
When Abby was gifted Miu Miu’s newest summer scent, Miutine
“An irreverent, gourmand twist” in a PR package, I immediately saw more than an unboxing opportunity. I saw a full campaign.
PR packages are often treated like disposable content. Open the box. Film a reaction. Post it. Move on. But these moments hold far more potential. With the right creative direction, a single product can become a full visual story, and my creative gears were going full steam ahead.
So, I reached out and asked Abby if we could turn it into a themed editorial session.
A box of strawberries. Some string. One room. Thirty minutes.
That was all we needed.
We didn’t have time to overthink, as we operated entirely off instinct. The strawberries weren’t only a prominent note in the scents composition, but they exemplified the the bold, indulgent, richness that is associated with a luxury brand like Miu Miu.
This is the difference between content and editorial branding photography.
Content documents, while editorial transforms.
Editorial branding photos create images that fashion brands can use across campaigns, websites, lookbooks, PR, and social platforms. They elevate the perceived value of the product. They create cohesion and give your brand a visual language.
This curated line of marketing isn’t limited to big fashion houses, rather it can be an incredible tool for small Utah fashion brands and designers, that want to stand out. Strong visuals are no longer optional. They are the foundation of how your audience understands your work.
You do not need a massive production to create compelling branding images. You need clear creative direction and the ability to translate your product into something visual and emotional.
These images were created in 30 minutes. Not because they were rushed, but because the vision was clear.
Your product deserves more than a quick post, that gets lost in the scroll of social media. It deserves imagery that can anchor a campaign and stop a potential client in their track.
If you are an Utah fashion brand, designer, or small business looking for editorial branding photography, this is exactly what I create. Images that feel intentional endlessly creative, and made to stand out.
