Editorial Utah Branding and Wedding Photographer

I wasn’t always a photographer.

For years, my world revolved around charcoal dust, paint-stained hands, and sketchbooks filled with half-finished ideas. Long before I picked up a camera, I was obsessed with experimenting across different artistic mediums, searching for new ways to capture and express emotion.

Photography became a natural extension of that obsession.

What began as a creative outlet quickly evolved into a way of telling stories.

Your stories.

Today, as a Utah-based editorial photographer, I bring that same artistic foundation to every wedding, branding session, and portrait experience I have the pleasure of curating.

I believe photographs should do more than document what happened. They should preserve how it felt.

My work exists somewhere between editorial and documentary photography, with a dash of fine art thrown into the mix. I love creating imagery worthy of a magazine spread, but I also know that the most meaningful photographs often happen in the unscripted moments in between. My goal is to create galleries that feel both elevated and honest. No cookie-cutter nonsense here.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually elbow-deep in a creative project. Whether I’m painting a backdrop, sculpting a prop, or reupholstering a piece of furniture, these endeavors are often sparked by an idea for a session that simply refuses to leave me alone until I bring it to life.

I’m also endlessly fascinated by lighting. Photographers paint with light, and learning how to shape, manipulate, and harness it has become one of my greatest creative passions. Over the years, I’ve built a collection of lighting equipment that allows me to create scenes rather than simply observe them. It gives me the freedom to craft imagery that feels intentional, cinematic, and uniquely yours.

Based in Utah and available for destination weddings, branding campaigns, and portrait sessions throughout the West and beyond, I’m always ready for the next story.

At the end of the day, I don’t believe you’re simply booking a photographer.

You’re investing in artwork centered around you.
