We need to talk about Northampton House. Nestled in the heart of Utah Valley, this romantic venue is bursting with old-world charm, classic architecture, and some of the most lush garden grounds I’ve had the pleasure of frolicking through. When I had the opportunity to participate in their photo competition, I knew I wanted to create something unexpected—modern, bold, and deeply romantic.
This shoot was all about contrast—playing with the venue’s rich, traditional setting while styling the shoot with fresh textures and editorial details. The pleated ivory gown from Renee Atelier , by designer Hera Couture , brought drama and movement, with sculptural lines that gave a nod to historical fashion while feeling wildly current. Paired with undone curls and a striking, sculpted bouquet by Audrey Rose Floral, we leaned into a bridal aesthetic that feels just a bit rebellious, in all the best ways.
Northampton House’s fountain courtyard and rose-draped windows offered the perfect canvas. Inside or out, the venue’s elegance and abundance of florals made every frame a dream to capture.
